The Library now lends out MacBook Pro laptops and chargers! After signing the laptop lending agreement and presenting a valid SMC ID, patrons can borrow laptops for 24 hours at a time. Universal laptop chargers are also available for 4-hour checkout at the Library Service Desk.
(IT Services also lends out laptops with a longer loan period. Please see the Equipment Lending page on their website or call them at 925-631-4266 to learn more.)
When the building is open, the Library also has 50 desktop computers (Mac and Windows) for student, faculty, and staff use, located throughout the three floors of the building.
