How do I find the Seminar readings online?
Answered By: Elise Wong

1. The fastest way is to go through the E-Reserves Library Guide.

2. Browse the list to the left of the screen and select the course you are in (SEM 1, SEM 2, etc.)

3. To get to any reading, you are asked for a password. For your course e-reserves password, please ask your Seminar instructor, call the Library Service Desk at 925-631-4229, or text the Library at 925-291-9699. (We can't share it publicly on these sites).

4. Then just click on the reading you're looking for:

If you don't see a reading listed, that means it is not available through e-reserves (usually due to copyright restrictions).

Note: If you search Google, you may be able to find e-books, PDFs, or websites with texts that seem to be the seminar readings. But make extra sure that they are the same edition and translation as the version your professor wants you to read. To be safe, use the readings on E-Reserves (instructions above) or ask a librarian.
