Yes! The library is open to anyone that is on campus, including guests and visitors. If you are not SMC faculty, students or staff, materials can be used within the Library only, unless you have a Community Borrowing card. If you wish to use an online database, please ask a librarian to log you into a guest computer station in order to do so, or login on your own device using the Wifi guest access from SMC.
Further information can be found on the Library's Borrowing Privileges page. To purchase a community borrower card, visit the Service Desk on the first floor. There is an annual fee of $75 which allows you to borrow up to 5 books at a time. You can borrow books only from SMC with this card.
